Volunteers meet to tidy and maintain the Abbey gardens (subject of course to weather conditions). These events are usually held fortnightly on a Saturday between 2pm to 5pm. However, during the winter we limit these events to shorter visits when weather conditions allow. Visitors are welcome to attend, help with the gardening or just walk around the Abbey site. Guided tours can often be provided spontaneously on site or arranged via our contact page.
We have decided not to publish the winter events because these are generally difficult to hold and we cannot guarantee the Abbey will be open. For the latest dates for the Spring/Summer 2023, please see below:
