Our volunteers were out in force at the weekend (Saturday 2nd September 2023) in order to prepare the site for the Heritage Open Days which is scheduled to take place on Saturday 9th September and 15th September (between 2pm-5pm with a talk scheduled at 2.30pm on both days). Our volunteers worked hard and we had several visitors. Two of our volunteers started early and cut the grass around the edges of the raised flower beds. The weeds were removed from the raised flower beds and the nave area received an extensive 'strim' and 'haircut'. The display of stonework in the cloister area is looking particularly impressive.
