We held our Open Day (first open day post Covid Lockdowns), on Saturday 14th May 2022. The Abbey site was open to visitors from 11am to 4pm - thankfully, the weather was very kind to us. We had a steady stream of visitors (11) and Elaine conducted numerous guided tours for these visitors (see photo). Several volunteers attended (10 volunteers throughout the day) and we continued to plant 12th century wild flower seeds in the borders, clear the weeds and work was started to tidy up the nave. In addition to the guided tours, there was lots of visitors who stopped to read the information board and chat to the volunteers.
